The Jets Lose.

Recently i became a Jets fan. I'm debating if this choice was a good one or one that i might have been better off with. I thought that this year they would at least make the playoffs and everything would be fun in the sun with Brett Favre. Eh, not so much.

I'm not going to ramble on but I'm genuinely upset with "my team". I guess that may be a good thing.

Check out this video i did with Justin for our video class!

  1. Don't refer to The Jets as 'your' team. If you are questioning your loyalty to them, then they may just not be the team for you.

I am a Jets fan. I didn't become a fan of them for Favre. But hey, everyone has their own reasoning for these things. It just hurts to see someone put the Jets down and give up on them like that.

You should know better than that.

The wayz I seez it is:
Don't expect much from them, that way if they do well, it's really exciting. When you expect things, it puts a lot of pressure on people.

And I believe that the Jets feel that pressure. Tons of pressure. People have to live with random families/strangers during the off-season.

I'm not trying to divert anyone's attention with that.

When I was a little kid, late at night my dad would come home growling like a bear. Angry. About the Jets losing. I learned from a young age what the Jets were all about. Sort of?

I would always ask him why he was a fan of a team that always lost.
I don't remember if I got an answer or not, it's not about that.

    This is real life.
    I love the Jets.
They are my team, and I am their fan.
Talking about the Jets is like talking about family.

    I love the MEADOWLANDS.

It doesn't always have to be about winning, it could be for the love of the game. Or the love of family. I have a father, you know?

Who would my father be without the Jets?

The Jets have done so much for this universe, world, country, state...
